On foot
The easiest way to access the museum in on foot. The museum is located on Museum Street, just a short walk from the centre of Saffron Walden. From the Market Square, walk up Market Hill towards St Mary’s Church, cross over Church Street and continue walking up Museum Street. You will see St Mary’s Church on your left and the museum gateway on your right. Go through the museum’s gates and as you walk up the drive you will see the museum in front of you.
By car

By rail
The nearest railway station to Saffron Walden is Audley End, which is on the branch line between London Liverpool Street and Cambridge, with regular trains. From Audley End, take a short taxi or bus journey to Saffron Walden. Buses drop off on the High Street, a short walk from the Market Square and the directions above can then be followed.
